Boilers and furnaces only need to be big enough to heat the space that they are heating… not you, your neighbor and the guy across the street! I know, it sounds obvious but I cannot tell you the number of times we go into a house and find a 120,000 BTU boiler when they only need a 75,000 BTU! You are using all of that energy to run a 120,000 BTU boiler when you absolutely do not need to. It’s like using dollar bills for kindling!
